FROM CITRUS GROVES TO FAME

Toronto’s Minor League affiliate, the Dunedin Blue Jays of the historic Florida State League were originally established in 1978 and played two seasons before being re-established in 1987. Many Blue Jays greats developed in Dunedin on their way to the Big Leagues, including Carlos Delgado, Roy Halladay, Pat Borders, Pat Hentgen, Lloyd Moseby, Vernon Wells, Jesse Barfield, and current stars Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, and Jordan Romano.showcased emerging talent, turning the spotlight on rising stars before they make their grand entrance onto the big league stage.
